Escape from the Clouds

You are Kai, a dedicated fighter for the underground Resistance, imprisoned high above the clouds in the Star Castle, a formidable stronghold of the tyrannical SkyWatch forces that rule over the corrupted and crime-ridden region of Astreija.

Now you must escape.

Background

This is a single quest for an RPG, envisioned as part of a larger narrative concept. I wanted to try putting a spin on the classic "recruit a companion" mission type and to test out Twine, while giving the player some agency and choices that affect the outcome.
